17.06.2013 Проблема выбора, поиск свободы не минует вопроса о смысле жизни и веры в Бога. Каждый человек рано или поздно приходит к поиску смысла жизни. Это вопрос основопологающий, без чего жить нельзя.Выбор, который нам предоставляет сделать судьба определяет нашу жизнь. Чужой путь редко даёт радость, и только «следование своему пути приносит чувство мира»[1]. «Мы всегда остаёмся собой, другой личностью мы не станем никогда, но своё «я» мы можем испортить и покалечить, то есть потерять свой путь»[2]. Чтобы не потерять себя и преодолевать трудности, необходимо «мужество и смирение; впрочем мужество и смирение, правильно понятые, это одно и то же. Смирение без мужества превращается в трусость, капитуляцию перед внешней силой, мужество без смирения превращается в дерзость, желанием ответить ударом на удар»[3].
Есть в нашей жизни такой феномен, как монашество. Его очень сложно объяснить, а понять без внутреннего опыта почти невозможно.
Кто-то вовсе не задумывается об этом, иные – предпочитают не замечать, третьи видят в нём некую достопримечательность или экзотику. Считается, что монах – «мертвец для мира, поскольку перестаёт жить мирскими понятиями, чувствами и желаниями», даже «монашеский постриг похож на обряд погребения»[4].
Радость монаха -его одиночество, внутреннее и внешнее удаление от мира. Так, апостол Павел, когда увидел, что проповедь его не достигает цели, уехал в Тарс, где он родился и жил, и 5 лет занимался богомыслием, перечитывал Священное Писание, рассуждал, старался понять суть воли Бога. Даже в общежительных монастырях многие, кто хотел быть только с Богом, оставляли братию свою и уходили в отшельничество: кто на острова, кто в горы, кто в пещеры. Так, например, Иоанн Лествичник – игумен Синайского монастыря – 40 лет провёл в пещере. Ради чего? Ради того, чтобы быть одному? Ради того, чтобы понять свой внутренний мир, чтобы увидеть свои мысли и желания, увидеть свою прожитую жизнь.
Монах-это не только человек «один» или «одинокий», но и «единый». Монах – единый как личность, он свободен «от оков мира, от плена его понятий и представлений»[5]. Центром и смыслом своего бытия монах видит в единении с Богом. Монашество – это тайна любви человеческой души к Богу и Бог открывается как непостижимый покой, а земная жизнь с её текучестью и временностью предстаёт как полужизнь.
Понять суть монашества можно, лишь пережив и прочувствовав его, правдивее и откровеннее о нём написано в сердцах людей. Об этом и пойдёт речь.
По словам сына священника, сейчас – человека, работающего юристом по уголовному праву и трезво смотрящего на мир, – в 90 е годы в монастыри шли неофиты, они быстро разочаровывались и уходили, кто-то продержался дольше, кто-то совсем прижился, но прижились в основном приспособленцы-тёртые калачи, а не неофиты-романтики…
Однажды в переполненном людьми автобусе, ехавшем по городу, мне довелось стать свидетелем интересного разговора. Беседовали двое, спорили о монашестве. Один из них - мой приятель Евгений, смотрящий на мир с широко открытыми глазами, другой – уже бывший монах. Было ему 18 лет и казалось, что что-то в жизни не получалось и не складывалось, впрочем, как кажется многим в этом возрасте, и кто-то посоветовал ему поехать в монастырь, пожить…и в первый же год жизни в монастыре он стал монахом, о чём потом пожалел. Пребывание его в монашестве было как дуновение ветра, дыхание – внезапным, кратким, но таким, без чего уже не мыслишь себя, не можешь жить, как не можешь жить без воздуха. Этот человек сделал свой выбор «уйти», однако жить по-другому уже не мог. О чём и признавался моему приятелю: «Если у меня будет семья, это будет отступление от пути, это уже совсем не то». «Что это было? Промысел Божий? Прихоть игумена?» – рассуждал о своём прошлом уже бывший монах. Евгений старался разубедить и искренне утешить «падшего ангела», говорил о промысле и воле Божией, и всё никак не хотел верить в слова своего собеседника: «Нынешнее монашество – это конвейер. Решение принять монашество должно быть взвешенным, осознанным, проверенным временем и очищенным от обид на прошлое. На все твои красивые слова, я отвечу только одно: я так не могу!».
О дальнейшей судьбе этого человека мне ничего не известно, а вот мой приятель, 24-летний парень из благополучной семьи, перспективный, не более как полгода назад удивил всех, кто его знал, своим выбором – он принял монашество. Его друзья и знакомые никак не могли осмыслить причину такого поступка, но ясно осознавали, что с этих пор между нами возникла некая дистанция. Он отрёкся от мира, и для него началась другая жизнь, исполненная новой духовной радости.
После пострига всё тот же Евгений встречал нас в гостинице монастыря, только смотрел на нас совсем иным взглядом, это уже взгляд отца Александра – такое имя ему дали в монашестве. Глаза его были наполнены тихим светом, небывалым до того спокойствием и умиротворением. И, казалось, этим глазам открылось нечто, что было для нас неизвестно и о чём мы могли только мечтать.
Монашеский путь – это возвышенный путь духовного служения, пройти который удаётся далеко не каждому. «Чувствительность сердца должна быть тонкой, как листок сусального золота, – писал старец Паисий Святогорец. – Монах думает о страданиях людей, его душа болит за всё человечество, и из сердца его непрерывно изливается молитва за мир».
«Монастыри – тихая пристань; они подобны светочам, которые светят людям, приходящим издалека, привлекая всех к своей тишине», – сказал святой Иоанн Златоуст. Многие века люди приходят в монастыри: мужчины и женщины, молодые и старые, богатые и бедные. Что ищут они там? Себя? Смысл жизни? Впрочем, это область веры и сюда с земными понятиями не подойдёшь.
